How it started
My path has been shaped by three career chapters, each building on the last — and one life-changing experience that rewired how I think about community and creativity.
Education & Journalism
I hold a Bachelor's degree in PR and Communications, with three years of Computer Science studies that gave me a strong technical foundation. Starting from my university years, I built a career in journalism — working as a cultural and political journalist, eventually becoming an editor in political coverage. I climbed that ladder fast, but after graduation I made a pivot: I left journalism and stepped into marketing.
Ebola Communications · 2008–2015
I founded Ebola Communications, a digital agency, and spent seven years growing it from scratch. Eventually, I sold it to a major advertising holding — my first exit. I stayed on contract through the transition, then moved on to what came next.
Exploration & Reinvention
After the exit, I explored every direction — my own startups, consulting, corporate C-level roles at IT companies, and eventually real estate development, where I served as VP of Real Estate Development at a construction holding. I also tried events and experimented with various business models. That range of experience — from startups to corporate boards to construction sites — gave me a perspective that no single career track could.
KPI Creatives · 2023–Now
My current chapter began in Los Angeles with the founding of KPI Creatives — a Creative Growth Partner that builds content systems designed to drive growth by earning trust before the sale and delivering results after it. This is where everything I've learned comes together.
Burning Man · Since 2013
In 2013, I went to Burning Man for the first time — and it changed everything. I founded the Ukrainian Burners Community and Ukrainian Burners NGO in Ukraine, and today I serve as President of Ukrainian Burners Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in California. I run my own camp (Kurenivka Camp), founded the Blue Bull art car, and I'm a DJ who loves throwing BBQs. The outdoor life is part of my DNA, and this creative, communal energy runs through everything I build.
